Gate City Brass, a professional quintet based in Atlanta, Georgia, is committed to presenting brass music through fresh perspectives in all styles. With a focus on creating original works and arrangements, Gate City Brass seeks to expand and enrich audiences of traditional brass music through engaging live performances, recordings, and educational programs.

• Performing in a wide variety of styles (including classical music, folk songs, music from other cultures, jazz, and popular songs) at a high artistic level in diverse settings and venues.
• Programming performances that infuse music with humor, dramatic interpretation, and creative energy.
• Communicating verbally, visually, and musically with audiences, connecting to listeners in an innovative, thought-provoking, and meaningful way.
• Expanding and preserving the tradition of brass chamber music through the development, performance, and recording of our unique repertoire for quintet, including original compositions and arrangements as well as works by both renowned and emerging composers.
• Engaging students of all ages through various educational outreach experiences such as lecture-demonstrations, workshops, master classes, and school concerts.
